OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
Principle of Operation
Propulsion
The engine is directly coupled to a
drive shaft which, in turn, rotates an
impeller. This impeller is accurately ad-
justed in a housing where the water is
drawn up from underneath the water-
craft. Then the water flows through
the impeller to a venturi. The venturi
accelerates the water and produces
thrust to move the watercraft. De-
pressing the throttle lever increases
engine speed and therefore watercraft
speed.
TYPICAL
Neutral and Reverse
(if so equipped)
The shift lever should be in the forward
position in order for the craft to ad-
vance.
To obtain neutral, pull shift lever half-
way. The reverse gate will be in the
middle position, directing half of the
thrust toward the front of the craft to
minimize watercraft movement.
GTS MODELS

GTI MODELS

WARNING
Always perform the DAILY PRE-
OPERATION CHECKS before oper-
ating the watercraft. Become thor-
oughly familiar with all controls
and the function of each. Should
any control or instruction not be
fully understood, refer to an au-
thorized Sea-Doo dealer.
WARNING
Whenever the engine is to be start-
ed, the operator and passenger
should always be sitting on the
watercraft.
